I go home for a weekend to visit my family and I come back to find out that zombies have attacked the school? Wow. I'm sort of glad now that I let Mom talk me into visiting. I don't think I'd do well with zombies. Gremlins are one thing, but zombies are definitely another.

Anything else that's important that I missed? Any dinosaurs show up wanting to enroll or take over or anything? {Yeah. I'm just waiting for the dinosaurs, okay? In this place, sooner or later they'll show up.}

So. I'm here.

It's bigger than i expected; when Mom and Dad told me they wanted me to go to a boarding school for a year I expected all girls, all uniforms, and a lot of boring geeks. I don't know about the geeks thing yet (though nobody's been going around ranting about physics or whatever like Luke does at home) but there are guys. Some cute ones, even.

It's weird to be away from home, though. Nice to get away from Luke and his weird friends for awhile, and Mom and her constant whining at me, but I don't know how long that'll last. Hopefully awhile. If I get to the point where I miss Friedman, I hope someone kills me quick.

I don't miss Adam. I'm not letting myself miss him. After last year, I don't want to have to think of him ever again.

I'm rooming with sogothcally, and I think we'll get along. She's not some bouncy cheerleader or some science-obsessed weirdo, thank G - thankfully.

Now, I guess I should probably sign up for some classes, huh? Joy.
